Plaka - Plakes

It is built on the highest point of the island, and you can see it at the entrance by boat to Adamas Bay. It is the most characteristic village of the island with alleys and narrow streets, houses of Cycladic architecture, some shops and some restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Here in Plaka you will see the Castle, where you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of almost the entire island and see the most unforgettable sunsets. Our suggestion is to visit both museums located in Plaka, the Folklore Museum and the Archaeological Museum. Before Plaka in its extension is Plakes, a village with narrow streets and traditional houses.
