The catacombs are located on the hillside in the area with the ruins of the ancient city of Milos, southwest of the current settlement of Tripiti. The Catacombs of Milos is an ancient underground cemetery on Milos, which dates back to early Christian times. The catacombs consist of underground chambers and corridors carved into the soft volcanic tuff, while near them are other tombs. The catacombs are divided into three sub-groups with a total of five corridors along which the tombs are carved. They are accessible to the public.
